Our Services

eHearing advocates for your circumstance and needs through the Ministry of Health (Enable NZ), Ministry of Social Development (MSD, WINZ), ACC and Veterans Affairs. Contact us to discuss if you are eligible for these subsidy options. We also complete pre-employment hearing assessments and sensorineural tests for sudden hearing loss. Our eHearing Epsom clinic (Allevia Hospital, Allevia Specialist Centre) works alongside re known ENT Surgeons (Dr Melanie Collins, Dr Salil Nair, Dr Angus Shao and Dr Justin Wong) providing ear nose and throat specialist surgical care.

What We Provide

  • Full Diagnostic Hearing Assessments (includes PTA, Bone, Speech, and Tympanometry for ages 2+-Adults)
  • CAA hearing tests (those requiring special hearing assessments for CAA)
  • ACC Audiometric Assessments (those that need ACC hearing assessments)
  • Immittance Testing (Testing of the eardrum and middle ear health)
  • Tinnitus assessment and management (includes specialised management of tinnitus counselling)
  • Hearing Needs Assessment (includes an in-depth discussion of your current difficulties and needs. At the end of the appointment, suitable solutions will be offered in order to address your needs)
  • Hearing Aid Fitting (includes fitting your specified hearing aids/devices to your hearing loss and verification and fine-tuning of the devices to suit your preference)
  • Hearing Aid Follow-Up (any adjustments, queries or questions you might have will be addressed)
  • Ear Impression Taking (for those who need ear impressions done for hearing devices)
  • Custom Hearing Protection (handmade custom hearing solutions for all ages and needs)

MINISTRY OF HEALTH HEARING AID FUNDING SCHEME
If you have a hearing loss, hearing aids may be part of the solution to improve your hearing. You may be able to get help from the Ministry of Health to pay for the cost of hearing aids.

For people in extreme financial difficulty who cannot obtain assistance from any other government agencies, the NZ Audiological Society may be able to help. If you feel you meet the criterias (find out more from link below) and need help to buy a hearing aid contact your NZAS audiologist for further information and the appropriate application form.
